As one of the co-founders of Data Intelligence Mike believed the Pharmaceutical industry needed a specialist Business Intelligence software partner who could bring together all the data that Pharma Business Information departments require in one easy to use, accessible, place - this was the vision for the PharmaANALYTICS^TM platform.

Mike has worked in Business Intelligence within the Pharma industry for over 15 years and was responsible for the development of several products widely used within the industry today. Prior to co-founding Data Intelligence, Mike worked as a Program Director at Nielsen and a Product Development Director at IMS Health. He holds a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Sheffield.

Jon co-founded Data Intelligence with the vision of developing cutting-edge, innovative and affordable business intelligence solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, and has led the company's technical direction since its inception - including the development of the PharmaANALYTICS^TM platform.

Jon has worked in Business Intelligence within the Pharmaceutical industry for over 8 years and has architected a wide range of successful SFE and Market Research systems, both nationally and globally. He has particular expertise with data integration and development of analytical applications using the Microsoft BI Platform. Jon has previously worked as a Technical Architect at IMS Health. He holds degrees in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, in Software Development from the Open University, and is a Professional Member of the British Computer Society.

Tony has developed a great understanding of the commercial needs of Pharmaceutical Companies over a 15 year career in the industry. Tony’s experience covers Sales, Sales Management and National Sales Management, including a full team build. It also covers Marketing from Product Management to Head of Marketing as well as over 8 years working directly in Business Intelligence across a range of positions from analyst to designing and building an in house BI and MR Department. Tony has expertise in all ranges of SFE analytics, from conception and design, to salesforce roll out and then into monitoring and ROI.

Tony also has a passion for allowing organisations to develop real Business Intelligence Solutions that allow for true data based decision making throughout all levels of the organisation. He is also aware of the simple facts and one of those is that “If it is not measured then it isn’t done” and he takes that philosophy into the thought processes of everything that he does.

Jason is responsible for developing Data Intelligence’s client base in commercial terms both at home and abroad. Jason’s background includes analytics consulting, most recently at Cognizant Europe (marketRx), business development and client-side business intelligence, data warehousing and CRM management. Prior to joining Cognizant Jason was responsible for building the pharmaceutical business for Binley’s coming to this from a range of BI roles at Sanofi Aventis. Jason enjoys the great outdoors, good food, traveling extensively and is an electronic engineer by education having studied at Canterbury, Kent.

Helge started his career as a software developer for Business Intelligence systems within the Pharmaceutical industry. As a project manager he successfully led many project with large German-based pharmaceutical companies, equipping more than 3500 users with systems for storing, integrating and distributing relevant market information. As Director of Marketing and Client Services for IMS in Germany he led the enhancements and development of market databases in the areas of Wholesaler, Prescription, and Patient data within the German market. Due to his functions as a General Manager for IHA-IMS in Switzerland and later as Marketing Manger in the IMS EMEA region Helge also brings international experience and an extensive knowledge of international Pharma data and client needs.

Hitesh has been providing BI Analytical capabilities for Data Intelligence since its origin. He has focussed on information visualisation and effective reporting, and has been responsible for building Reporting systems for the pharma industry for over 5 years now.

Hitesh has a Masters’ degree in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool and has received his B. Engg. in Information Technology from the Mumbai University, India.

Perry brings 20 years of experience of working in the Pharmaceutical industry, during which time he has held positions at IMS, GSK and Johnson & Johnson. He has been involved the design and implementation of many successful Data Warehousing projects at both national and global levels. His involvement in these projects has typically encompassed the full project lifecycle.

In addition to his skills in the MS toolsets, such as SQL Server, Integration Services and Analysis Services, Perry has 12 years of experience of Oracle development and is a Certified Oracle Professional.

Vinoo has over 11 years of software development experience with over 7 years working in the Pharmaceutical industry. His development experience spans a broad range of Microsoft technologies for the web and desktop platforms.

Vinoo has a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala, India.

Simon has 15+ years of software development experience, within various sectors including finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and risk management. His development experience spans a broad range of Microsoft technologies for the web and desktop platforms.

Simon has a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, and an MSc in Knowledge Engineering from the University of Sunderland, as well as having Microsoft development certificates.

Dorota joined the company in November 2009 as a Business Intelligence Analyst. During the last 10 years of working experience she gathered her skills in a range of industries both in Poland and in the UK. She brought her statistical knowledge gained in the university and she is able to shape it further in analysing data and designing effective dashboards and reports. Dorota holds BA degree in Business Administration from London South Bank University and a Polish university’s degree in Organization and Management. At the moment she is reading for an MSc in Organisation Psychology in Birkbeck College in London.

Rodrigo brings 11 years of experience working in IT in different countries such as Brazil, Portugal and the UK. During this period Rodrigo gathered experience in the areas of first and second line support, computer networks, IT consultancy, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence for the retail and the pharmaceutical industries at both national and global levels. His skills encompass Oracle and Microsoft database technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Sales Analyser, Microsoft SQL Server, and Reporting Services. Rodrigo posses a first class honours degree in Information Systems from University of Glamorgan.

Christian has worked in the pharma industry for nearly five years, with a heavy involvement in SFE projects for a number of pharmaceutical companies of varying sizes. He has worked both client-side and agency-side with over two years at KantarHealth (formerly TNS Healthcare) and, more recently, two years at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Christian's focus for Data Intelligence is on analytics, including allocating sub-national incentive targets; customer targeting and segmentation; territory design and restructuring; and interpretation of secondary data. He will also be involved in report and dashboard design for online reporting platforms. Christian has a Mathematics degree from the University of Southampton, as well as a postgraduate diploma in Operational Research from the same institution.

Ben has over 12 years experience of software development and data architecture in the context of the Pharmaceutical industry, gained while working for IMS – including 6 years working as a Senior Consultant specialising in data warehousing in IMS EMEA’s Information Management Consulting department. He holds a MEng degree in Computing from Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, and is a Professional Member of the British Computer Society.

Modesto has worked for over 15 years in data warehousing and Business Intelligence. He has skills covering the full project lifecycle, from project start up to the final delivery stage. He has extensive experience working in the Market Research and Transport industries. He specializes in starting up complex data warehouse implementations by defining their scope, modelling the source data, leading the delivery stages and managing change. He is a very experienced data modeller and source data auditor acquainted with the impact of source data nuances in the overall design of a data warehouse.

Modesto has previously worked as Senior/Principal Consultant and as BI Practice Manager. He currently works with the Microsoft BI toolkit; but he has also worked extensively with Oracle. He holds an BA from Spain’s oldest university and an MSc from the University of Sussex.

Sam has over 12 years’ experience in successfully defining, designing, building and delivering business intelligence (BI) solutions. He has delivered data warehouse, OLAP cubes and performance management reporting to clients on a global basis. Sam has in depth knowledge and expertise in dimensional modelling to design business process driven enterprise data warehouse solutions. He has integrated and transformed data from a wide variety of flat file formats, relational and non-relational source systems. His domain knowledge includes the financial, healthcare, insurance, pharmaceuticals and retail sectors working with blue chip clients. His Microsoft BI technical competencies range from SQL Server 2005 / 2008, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, MS Office SharePoint 2007, PerformancePoint 2007, ProClarity and MDX. Sam holds 7 Microsoft Certified Professional and 4 Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, certifications.

Chung has over 9 years Business Intelligence experience. He has been involved with the entire lifecycle deployments of large scale data warehouses in different sectors such as retail, insurance and telecoms. From initial requirements gathering all way to deployment and ongoing support. He has a broad understanding of all disciplines involved from data quality to data integration and data delivery and presentation. He has a keen interest in new technologies and methodologies within the field.

John has 15 years of Software Development experience. The majority of his career has been spent designing and building Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions for Web Analytics and with large datasets. His main skills are SQL Server 2005 / 2008, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, ProClarity and MDX. He holds an Honours degree in Physics with Astrophysics from Sussex University.

Rishi's previous work experience includes database management and reporting in a large pharmaceutical company and web application development for his own business. Rishi graduated from the University of Kent with a masters in Marketing and was also awarded a First Class honours degree in Computer Science and Management Science from the same university.

Lauren is a graduate of The University of Sheffield in Information Management Science. Lauren brings an experience of Database Design, Business Intelligence and Information Systems Modelling to the company.
